Milwaukee's <a href=p2452.html>Chet Crase</a> gets the cycle
MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee's rightfielder <a href=p2452.html>Chet 
Crase</a> once again displayed his tremendous ability 
to make contact with that little white ball. He tore 
up St. Louis' pitching staff with a 5 hit performance 
on Tuesday. A triple off <a href=p375.html>John Crose</a> 
in the 1st inning, accounted for his 1st hit. A single 
in the 3rd off <a href=p375.html>John Crose</a> accounted 
for his 2nd hit. A pitch from <a href=p375.html>John 
Crose</a> in the 5th inning left his bat for a three-run 
homerun, landing 368 feet from home plate in right 
field. A single in the 7th off <a href=p375.html>John 
Crose</a> accounted for his 4th hit. A pitch from <a 
href=p2150.html>Chris Pitzer</a> in the 9th inning 
left his bat for a double. That drive completed the 
cycle, causing a smile on his face! Chet scored 2 runs, 
and he collected 3 RBI as well! This season has been 
a good one for him so far, as he has 9 hits in 18 at 
bats, resulting in a .500 batting average. He's now 
the 344th player in league history to hit for the cycle! 
On 10/2/2070, <a href=p398.html>David Reyna</a> was 
the last player to hit for the cycle.
